Chapter 111 A Crazy Dream Adventure
Chapter 111: A Crazy Dream Adventure
After leaving the Magic Garden, Liu Yu and the others found a place to rest. That night, Liu Yu fell asleep exhausted, only to be plunged into a frenzied dream.
In her dream, Liu Yu found herself in a huge amusement park, filled with bizarre and mysterious facilities.
The first thing he saw was a giant Ferris wheel, but instead of cabins, the seats were giant fruit baskets. Liu Yu excitedly climbed into a watermelon basket, and the Ferris wheel slowly began to turn.
But as it spun faster and faster, Liu Yu was tossed about in the basket, yelling, "Slow down! Slow down!"
However, the Ferris wheel wouldn't listen to him at all, and Liu Yu was eventually thrown out and fell into a huge pool.
He finally managed to struggle free and saw a carousel. However, the "horse" on this carousel wasn't an ordinary horse; it was a winged, flying fish.
Liu Yu rode on a fish, and after spinning twice, the fish suddenly went out of control and flew up, carrying Liu Yu wildly through the air. Terrified, Liu Yu clung tightly to the fish's neck and screamed for help.
Next, Liu Yu arrived at a haunted house. He thought there would be scary ghosts and monsters, but when he went inside, he found that the ghosts inside were a group of mischievous little elves who kept throwing candy and balloons at him.
Liu Yu was dazed and disoriented from the blows, and kept saying while dodging, "Stop hitting me! Stop hitting me!"
After leaving the haunted house, Liu Yu saw a huge slide. The slide was winding and twisting, like a giant dragon coiled in the air. Excitedly, Liu Yu climbed onto the slide, ready to slide down.
Unexpectedly, the slide was too slippery, and Liu Yu couldn't control her speed at all. She screamed all the way down and finally plunged headfirst into a giant ice cream bucket.
His face was covered in ice cream. After finally crawling out, he saw a bumper car area.
Liu Yu got into a bumper car and was about to start it when he was scrambled around by other cars. He tried to retaliate, but kept bumping into the wrong direction, making himself look utterly disheveled.
Then, Liu Yu discovered a huge maze. Full of confidence, he walked in, wanting to give it a try.
But after wandering around the maze for ages, he still couldn't find the exit. Finally, exhausted, he sat down on the ground, muttering, "What kind of lousy maze is this!"
Just when Liu Yu was feeling desperate, a talking rabbit appeared.
The rabbit said, "If you can answer three questions for me, I will take you out."
Liu Yu nodded quickly.
The rabbit asked, "What has a surface but no mouth, feet but no hands, and four legs but can't walk by itself?"
Liu Yu thought for a moment and said, "The table!"
The rabbit then asked, "Red fruit hanging on a stick, coated with sugar, tastes delicious. (Guess the food)"
Liu Yu scratched his head, unable to think of anything.
The rabbit said proudly, "It's candied hawthorn!"
Liu Yu slapped his forehead: "Oh dear, how come I didn't think of that!"
The rabbit then asked, "A little girl, born in the middle of the water, wearing a pink shirt, sitting on a green boat. (Guess a plant)"
Liu Yu racked his brains, but still couldn't answer.
The rabbit shook its head: "It's a lotus flower! How silly!"
After saying that, the rabbit led Liu Yu out of the maze.
Liu Yu just breathed a sigh of relief when he saw a huge trampoline. He excitedly jumped on it, but he jumped too high and flew straight into the sky.
After floating in the air for a while, Liu Yu finally slowly descended, landing right on a stage where a performance was taking place.
The audience was stunned. Liu Yu stood awkwardly on the stage, not knowing what to do.
Just then, a clown walked over, pulled Liu Yu backstage, and said, "You little brat, you're here to cause trouble, aren't you!"
Liu Yu quickly explained, "I didn't mean to!"
The clown said, "Since you're here, let's put on a show together!"
Liu Yu had no choice but to perform along with the clown. His clumsy movements drew laughter from the audience.
After the performance, Liu Yu collapsed to the ground, exhausted.
Just then, he suddenly woke up.
Liu Yu sat up, wiped the sweat from her forehead, and said, "This dream is too crazy!"
When Xu Xian, Xiao Qing, and Bai Suzhen heard him making a fuss, they all came over to ask him what was wrong.
Liu Yu told them about her dream, and everyone laughed heartily.
After packing their things, they continued on their way.
On the way, Liu Yu saw an old man selling kites.
Liu Yu wanted to buy a kite, so he asked the old man, "How much is this kite?"
The old man said, "Ten coins each."
Liu Yu thought it was too expensive, so she bargained with the old man: "How about five coins?"
The old man shook his head: "No, it has to be at least eight coins."
Liu Yu said, "Six coins, that's the most I can offer."
The old man thought for a moment and said, "Alright, I'll sell it to you."
Liu Yu took the kite and ran happily.
But as they ran, the kite string broke, and the kite flew away.
Looking at the kite flying away, Liu Yu said helplessly, "This is just too unlucky!"
They continued walking and came to a bustling market.
The market has all sorts of snacks and toys.
Liu Yu saw a vendor selling candied hawthorns and wanted to buy a skewer.
He asked, "How much is a skewer of candied hawthorns?"
The stall owner said, "Three coins."
Liu Yu bought a skewer, took a bite, and found that the candied hawthorn was sour.
He said, "This is way too sour, can I get a different one?"
The stall owner said, "Once you buy it, you can't exchange it."
Liu Yu had no choice but to bite the bullet and eat it.
Just then, a child ran over and accidentally bumped into Liu Yu, causing the candied hawthorn to fall to the ground.
Liu Yu looked at the candied hawthorns on the ground, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
They strolled around the market for a while and then left.
In the evening, they arrived at a temple.
A Buddhist ceremony is being held at the temple, and many people are burning incense and praying to Buddha.
Liu Yu also bowed, silently praying for good luck.
After leaving the temple, they found an inn to stay at.
That night, Liu Yu lay in bed, thinking about the day's events, and quickly drifted off to sleep. She wondered what interesting things awaited them tomorrow…
