People in Ultraman: Beginning Plunder and Fusion

Chapter 21 Mezad

Chapter 21 Mezad

The two pretty sisters were talking about something, but they didn't notice that the sandwiches next to them were covered with a layer of sand.

One of the girls casually picked up a sandwich and took a bite, only to realize that the sandwich was covered in sand, making it taste terrible.

Meanwhile, my friend Sato was at the beach with his girlfriend. Suddenly, he noticed that the Statue of Liberty next to him had turned into sand.

Not only that, the surrounding buildings were also damaged, making the whole scene extremely eerie. Soon, these images were transmitted to the base in the air.

In the park, Duolue was sitting on a bench eating when he suddenly noticed a building collapsing towards him.

However, Duolue did not panic. He used his teleportation skill and successfully avoided the collapse of the building.

An investigation revealed that an area within a one-kilometer radius of the business district had been transformed into desert ruins.

This situation caught the attention of XIG, and they sent personnel to investigate.

Inside the base, Guo Zi discovered a giant jellyfish-shaped object. This jellyfish simply floated over a building, and that building was destroyed, while other buildings turned to sand and disappeared.

Everyone was very confused and seriously doubted whether they were seeing things.

Above the city ruins, the Lightning team's fighter jets circled like falcons, the missiles hanging under their wings gleaming in the afterglow of the setting sun.

However, when the missile hurtled toward the monster, a shocking scene unfolded—the missile passed right through the monster's body as if it were a phantom, causing no damage whatsoever.

In the secure observation room, Duo Lue stared intently at the scene on the screen, a sense of unease rising within him. He rubbed his temples, realizing that this opponent was far more formidable than he had imagined.

His gaze shifted to another figure on the screen—Wo Meng, the scientist who always managed to find solutions in dire situations. Duo Lue took a deep breath, secretly hoping that Wo Meng could create another miracle.

I dreamt I was standing in the base's laboratory, surrounded by rows of flashing computer screens and sophisticated scientific instruments. His brow was furrowed, and the scanner in his hand displayed strange data about the monster.

It turns out that this monster is undergoing discontinuous quantum leaps, its state of existence constantly switching between reality and illusion. Under these circumstances, any traditional attack methods are ineffective.

I turned to my teammates and began to use my extensive knowledge of physics to explain the phenomenon.

His voice was firm and clear, full of confidence: "We must find a way to disrupt its quantum state so that it can be stabilized and our attack will be effective."

Just as I was explaining, Duolue silently teleported to a hidden corner of the aerial base and began eavesdropping on their discussion.

His eyes gleamed with curiosity and determination; clearly, he too was searching for a way to defeat the monster.

I began to explain: "This monster belongs to the wave life form, and its true identity is the hyperspace wave monster Mezad."

All I can tell you is that he is a wave-like creature that exists in multiple places at the same time, and what Team Lightning saw was just one of his shadows.

What XIG needs to do now is interfere with the resistance waves emitted by the monster. Only in this way can they bring the monster from the microscopic realm into the macroscopic world, aiming to compress the monster into a single point to solve the problem.

After listening to my dream's explanation, Duolue realized that the information here was no longer sufficient to meet his needs.

He decided not to linger any longer, so he activated his teleportation device, and his figure disappeared in a flash, leaving XIG's base.

The scene shifts to Reiko searching for news material amidst desert ruins. Her camera lens, pointed at a desolate landscape, unexpectedly captures the figure of a mysterious man.

He stood there, seemingly out of place amidst the surrounding ruins, giving one a sense of transcending time and space.

Reiko instinctively pressed the shutter, wanting to capture the scene, but when she looked up again, the man had vanished without a trace, leaving only sand swirling in the air.

At the XIG base, the assembly of the microwave irradiation device has been successfully completed.

Upon receiving the message, the XIG team members quickly assembled and prepared to depart for the mission. Director Ti stood in the command center, his sharp eyes scrutinizing every detail.

However, before setting off, he made an unexpected decision—to ask Imu to return to base and have Captain Kajio pilot the fighter jet to launch microwaves.

When I heard this command in my dream, I took a deep breath, and his gaze was firm and profound.

He turned his head slightly to the left and said to Director Ti in a calm but firm tone, "Well, the task is now in your hands."

His words revealed a hint of helplessness, but more so a trust in his teammates and respect for the mission.

Meanwhile, the monster Mezad began to wreak havoc in the city, causing massive destruction with each of its attacks.

The city is facing an unprecedented crisis, and Director Ti is anxiously urging me to act quickly.

Using his teleportation ability, Duolue appeared at the scene of the monster's destruction. He stood atop a collapsed building, calmly observing the monster's actions.

I dreamt I stood by the base window, gazing at the distant sky. His heart was filled with contradictions and struggle. The previous thieves had snatched away his chances to defeat the monsters, making him begin to doubt his own abilities and worth.

He had once been so confident in developing strategies to fight the monsters, but now he felt a deep sense of powerlessness. He knew he should be piloting the EX fighter jet on a mission, but he couldn't bring himself to do it.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to calm the turmoil in my heart. I told myself that this did not mean giving up, but rather another form of growth.

He decided to give this opportunity to Captain Kajio, allowing others to also have a chance to showcase themselves. He believed that the strength of the team was more important than individual glory.

On the other side of the base, the microwave irradiation device had been activated. Beams of green light streaked across the sky, accurately striking Mezad.

Under the influence of light waves, the monster's quantum leaps gradually weakened and eventually stabilized at a certain point.

Duolue stood atop the ruins, his gaze fixed on the fighter jets in the sky. A hint of doubt flashed in his eyes, for he hadn't seen Womeng appear in the cockpit.

He sighed, realizing that his time travel might have altered the original plot. Gaia hadn't appeared, meaning he would have to face this powerful enemy alone.

"Huh, that's strange. It seems that because I traveled through time, I changed some of the plot. Gaia didn't appear. In that case, I'll fight the monster by myself."

Duolue muttered to himself, his tone revealing a hint of determination and resolve.

Just then, the Lightning Squadron's fighter jets swooped down like raptors, increasing their firepower and concentrating their attack on Mezad.

Their missiles and laser beams rained down on the monster, attempting to annihilate it completely.

The Lightning team intensified their firepower, focusing all their damage, and even used fire to try and burn the damned monster, then weakened Mezad through their own efforts.

Upon seeing Mezad's true form, Duolue immediately transformed into Blackie, preparing to engage in a fierce battle with the monster.

His body was covered in black armor, and his eyes gleamed with determination. He knew that this battle would determine the fate of the city.

With a volley of fire from the Blitzkrieg, Primal Mezad burst into flames, letting out a deafening roar before crashing to the ground.

However, the flames did not completely defeat it; instead, they revealed its true form—an ugly monster. Without the jellyfish's glamorous appearance, its true form was chilling.

Mezad is 66 meters long and weighs an astonishing 33,000 tons. It bears the marks of Team Lightning's attack, but these injuries do not seem to have diminished its fighting power.

It began attacking with energy balls, electric shocks from its tentacles, and destructive beams; every move it made was full of destructive power.

Team Lightning continued to help Blackie attack Mezad, but unfortunately, their fighter jet was shot down by Mezad's tentacles. Blackie reacted quickly, reaching out to catch the falling jet and carefully placing it safely on the ground.

This action not only demonstrated Blackie's immense strength but also reflected his care and protection for his teammates.

Now, the real battle has just begun. Blackie launched the first energy ball attack, but Mezad seemed immune to this type of attack, and the energy ball did not cause it any real damage.

Heidi realized that he needed to change his strategy and find Mezad's weaknesses in order to effectively defeat this powerful enemy.

Mezad used its tentacles to unleash a powerful electric current, secretly attacking Blackie's right hand.

Even the powerful Blackie was finding it extremely difficult. The pain from the electric shock forced him to teleport to a distance to cushion the wound and regain his strength.

"Damn it, you ambushed me! You have no sportsmanship! Fine, you just wait, I'll kill you soon!" Blackie's voice was filled with anger and determination.

He understood that there could be no mercy or hesitation in fighting such an opponent.

The monster seemed to have no concept of martial virtue; it simply wanted to destroy everything. The battle unfolded fiercely amidst the ruins.

Mezad swung its enormous tentacles, each strike carrying destructive power, causing surrounding buildings to collapse under its attack.

Dark Tiga responded with astonishing speed and power, each of his attacks incredibly precise, attempting to find Mezad's weakness.

He dodged Mezad's tentacles while searching for an opportunity to counterattack.

Suddenly, Mezad's tentacles released an even stronger electric current. Although Dark Tiga reacted quickly, he was still struck by the current, and his body trembled from the shock.

But he did not give up. He knew that only by persevering could he protect innocent lives.

Dark Tiga concentrated all his power and unleashed his ultimate beam—the Dark Destruction Beam. This powerful beam collided with Mezad's electricity, creating a massive explosion.

The surrounding air vibrated due to the collision of energy, and the shockwave from the explosion further destroyed the surrounding ruins.

The shockwave from the explosion knocked both Dark Tiga and Mezad back, but Dark Tiga did not fall.

He stood up and launched another attack, his determination and courage undiminished by Mezad's strength.

Mezad launched many energy balls at Heidi, attempting to overwhelm his opponent with sheer numbers.

However, instead of confronting it head-on, Blackie used the Wormhole skill to absorb these energy orbs one by one and convert them into enhanced energy for the Evil Di card.

"The energy ball probably won't do you much harm, so you might as well absorb it and use it to strengthen Xiedi."

Duolue (Heidi) said, his voice revealing a hint of mockery.

To avoid making the same mistake, Heidi used the cutting wheel to cut off Mezad's tentacles one by one.

These tentacles are crucial for Mezad's surprise attacks and electric shocks; without them, Mezad's combat effectiveness is greatly reduced.

"Without those annoying tentacles, let's see how you'll destroy me," Duolue said sarcastically, his confidence growing stronger as the battle progressed.

Having lost his most important tentacles, which were designed for stealthy, electric shocks, Mezad was completely desperate.

It understood that this foreshadowed its impending death, so it unleashed its final attack—the Destruction Ray—aiming at Blackie with all its might.

Blackie refrained from any more underhanded tactics and instead honestly used his Dark Ray to clash with Mezad's Destructive Ray. The two powerful beams collided in mid-air, generating a massive energy surge.

Dark Tiga's power surpassed that of anyone else, and his dark rays gradually suppressed Mezad's destructive rays.

Soon, the dark rays struck Mezad step by step, eventually hitting its body.

"Ah!" Mezad screamed in agony as its body began to disintegrate under the attack of the dark light.

The system prompted: "Mezad's lootable strength is 100%. Loot now?"

"Yes, plunder ability activated."

Mezad disappeared as a card, and the card automatically entered the system's card space.

The battle is over.

Blackie flew into the sky to deactivate his transformation, then teleported back to his rented presidential suite and sat on the sofa to perform card fusion.

"I can't wait any longer, it's time to fuse these three monsters together."

Ligadron is too weak. Use the "Take Over" skill to open up the system card space and fuse Ligadron, Apate, and Mezad.

It merges into the shapeshifting monster Amedron, whose body is based on Ligadron and has flexible limbs. Its body can freely transform into a spear to fly and dodge attacks.

It has grown six tentacles on its back that can extend very long and shock enemies in the surrounding area; its ultimate move is a destructive beam.

After finishing, he immediately went to bed.
