StarCraft: Everyone wants the Queen

Chapter 127 The First Invasion

Chapter 127 The First Invasion

Colette stepped onto the red carpet still holding her little white wolf cub, freeing one hand to knock on the door.

Before knocking, he checked his watch to make sure it wasn't Aliya's break time.

"Please come in."

A lazy voice came from behind.

When Colette went inside, she found that she was still studying the latest intelligence.

He put the wolf cub down and brought her a cup of tea. "Sister, there's no need to be so serious. The Pandora Project has already begun, and the first batch of deployments has reportedly been very effective."

"That's good." Aria turned around, revealing a slightly immature face.

She and Colette look very alike. Although they are half-siblings, they both perfectly inherited their father's genes, having almost identical green eyes and black hair.

This is a symbol of their bloodline, and even more so a symbol of their status.

"In that case, what did Father say?"

When her father was mentioned, Colette seemed unwilling to say more, only replying perfunctorily, "What else can we do? He just wants us to keep a close eye on them, and if possible, bring the Queen of Insects back with us."

Sitting next to Aria with her legs crossed, Colette made no attempt to hide her motives: "Why should we obey him? He's so old..."

"But he is our father."

Aria said with a sigh, "I know you don't like being around him, but the Crown Prince is making quite a stir. I guess Father also wants to get rid of us so that he can pass the throne to the Crown Prince. So we must take this opportunity to wipe out the Zerg in one fell swoop. This will make it easier for you to inherit the throne."

“I don’t want that useless throne,” Colette said idly, playing with a glass on the table. Through the glass, he could almost see his so-called father, whom he had hardly ever seen since birth. “I just want to know why, why my father is not happy with me, why he never cares about me even though I am his son.”

"Let bygones be bygones; we cannot choose our origins."

Aria shifted the topic to the plan, "By the way, the first-generation serum has been put into use. What's the Zerg doing?"

"Not yet, but I estimate their 'ancestors' will give them a hard time."

Mentioning the Pandora Project, Colette immediately perked up. "I bet those annoying bugs haven't realized this was our doing yet. Even if they had, there's nothing they could do. After all, the Zerg gene chain protein extracted from Sarnster's blood has helped us a lot!"

Inside the wolf-like warship, batches of reagents were produced from the production line, sealed, boxed, and sampled for testing...

The entire process was orderly. All the wolves wore heavy protective suits and carried the reagents, box by box, onto the experimental transport spaceship, which then expedited their transport to other star systems.

"Looks like it's almost done."

After Aria saw the small red dot on the radar enter the Zerg homeship, he ordered the first attack to begin.

"First Fleet, listen to my command—"

"Activate the protective shield and fire the particle cannons at the Zerg defenses!"

As the particle cannon fired, the meteorites in outer space of the fourth star system were shattered by the impact, and the Zerg main starship activated its protective shield immediately to defend against the Wolf Clan invasion.

"I'm really impatient." Klein stood in the command center, gazing into the distance.

“Use this,” Alex handed him a high-precision calibration mirror, “it will allow you to see further.”

"Thank you."

The golden shield effectively withstood and dispersed a large amount of the impact, and the Zerg starships had enough energy to sustain them in a prolonged war.

"Aren't you afraid of Gatana's wrath?" Klein asked, seeing that he showed no intention of backing down.

"Are you afraid?" Alex retorted. "I don't think the former commander, Klein, who was worth a thousand troops, would be afraid of a villain who gained honor by usurping the throne."

Klein simply smiled faintly after hearing this, "I think so too."

“However…” Klein changed the subject, “what if the werewolves’ initial plans weren’t with us at all?”

"What do you mean by that?" Alex asked, confused. "Don't they just want to destroy our starships so they can take over the royal planet?"

"Wrong, they probably never intended to start a war with us in the first place."

Klein saw Aria through the calibration mirror, and Colette beside her.

Aria seemed to have noticed him too, baring her sharp teeth in a defiant gesture and silently mouthing the words.

"What did you see?"

“Aria is saying, ‘You worms, you should go back to the Stone Age.’” Klein retrieved the calibration mirror.

He also asked Alex to connect with Gatana inside, saying, "I want to talk to him personally."

On the wolf-ship, Colette had no idea why his sister had just spoken in spoken language.

"Sister, what are you doing?"

"It's nothing, I was just chatting with some acquaintances."

Aria's face hardened with an aggressive expression, her sharp teeth slicing through her lips. "Now, it's time for us to close the net... Contact our ally; he's probably getting impatient."

Meanwhile, Alex's inside line was constantly busy.

"Could he be talking to someone else?" Alex dialed again, unwilling to give up, but the other party was still on another call.

Klein knew Gatana well and patted Alex on the shoulder. "I'm afraid we'll have no choice but to fight this time. Gatana has probably already allied with the Wolf Clan. Let's not wait for his message, let's start the war."

“How can you be so sure that he’s colluded with the wolf clan…” Alex believed that Gatana would cede territory for personal gain, even at the cost of his reputation. “In any case, he would never betray his own kind.”

“Nothing is impossible, Alex,” Klein showed him the information on the quantum computer. “All the Zerg do not believe me, simply because I once ‘killed’ the Zerg Queen.”

The above is a video, a video of Gatana secretly talking to the wolf chieftain.

"It won't be easy to break through the firewall on a starship that has long been scrapped and obtain data from two hundred years ago."

Klein carefully put the video away. "Now everyone in the Zerg believes that Gatana is seeking peace, not colluding. This video alone is not enough to prove anything, so I need you to turn the warship around and head to King Star immediately!"

“It’s probably too late,” Aria’s voice came from the starship’s screen.

"Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Aria, the commander of the Seventh Armaments of the Wolf Clan."

"Klein, Alex, hello there."

Aria's face appeared on all the display screens and light panels on the starship.

Even Shen Qingqing's face appeared on her personal computer while she was on the starship.

"Breaking through your Zerg's StarNet firewall is no easy feat. Without your help, I'm afraid I would have had a hard time breaching your communication system in such a short time."
