Su Wan'er slowly walked to Lin Xuan's side, her eyes full of worry and expectation. "Lin Xuan, have you really decided? Are we really going to challenge that cursed castle?"

Lin Xuan looked up into the distance. The castle looked particularly eerie in the moonlight. "Yes, Wan'er. The key clue we need is hidden there. Only by finding it can we uncover the truth of this conspiracy."

After entering the castle, they found that it was indeed full of traps. Suddenly, a sharp sound broke the silence, and the stones on the wall began to move, revealing a hidden passage.

"It looks like this is some kind of trial ground." Zhao Linger clenched her sword and looked around vigilantly.

Lin Xuan nodded, "Everyone, divide into two groups, one group will explore the passage, and the other group will stay here to prevent any accidents."

So, Lin Xuan and Su Wan'er walked into the passage, while Wang Yang and Zhao Ling'er stayed where they were on guard.

Inside the passage, the walls were covered with ancient runes, emitting a faint glow. Su Wan'er whispered the meaning of the runes, "These runes seem to be some kind of warning, reminding us that there are many dangers ahead."

"Danger has always been our driving force to move forward." Lin Xuan clenched the weapon in his hand and walked forward firmly.

At the end of the passage was a huge stone chamber with an ancient altar in the center. On the altar, an ancient book lay quietly, as if waiting for their arrival.

"That's it!" Lin Xuan walked forward quickly and was about to pick up the ancient book when suddenly a strong vibration came from underground and the entire stone chamber began to shake violently.

"Let's get out of here quickly!" Su Wan'er grabbed Lin Xuan's hand and said anxiously.

But it was too late. A black shadow emerged from the ground and turned into a terrifying monster, blocking them. The monster's eyes glowed red, and its body was huge, which was intimidating.

"It seems that we have to solve it first." Lin Xuan said calmly, without a trace of fear in his eyes.

"Get ready for battle!" Su Wan'er and Lin Xuan stood side by side, ready to face this life-and-death battle at any time.

The battle was extremely fierce, the monster was powerful and attacked swiftly. But Lin Xuan and Su Wan'er cooperated well, attacking and defending in an orderly manner. Finally, Lin Xuan seized the opportunity and stabbed the monster's heart with a sword. The monster let out a shrill howl and then turned into smoke and dissipated.

"We succeeded!" Su Wan'er panted, a relieved smile on her face.

Lin Xuan quickly walked to the altar and picked up the ancient book. "Finally found it. Next, we have to figure out its secret."

After leaving the stone chamber, they met up with Wang Yang and Zhao Linger who were guarding outside. Wang Yang saw the ancient book in Lin Xuan's hand, and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes, "Is this the key clue we need?"

"That's right." Lin Xuan nodded, "We must return to the base as soon as possible to interpret the contents of this ancient book."

Zhao Linger patted Lin Xuan on the shoulder and said, "Brother, you have worked hard. Next, let's face this challenge of fate together."
