The eyes of people followed him eagerly. The number of guests at the venue was decent. Though they weren't great in numbers, they weren't less in numbers either.
Each of them had dressed exquisitely. From their appearance alone, Hiro could tell that these people were some of the important figures in the organization.
He could recognize a few. However, most of them remain a mystery to him. Though they introduced themselves, Hiro couldn't be bothered to remember every single one of them.
He only remembered the ones he felt like remembering.
Hiro took the microphone. Grabbing the microphone, he swept his gaze through the crowd. He could spot the eagerness and anticipation in their eyes.
The top staff of the organization looked excited, their eyes beaming with excitement.
He was asked to speak a few words. However, he couldn't think of anything. He hadn't prepared any speech in advance.
Heck! He didn't even know the event would be this grand.
"I'm grateful to be part of the Mizuno family. And I'm thankful to the people who have made this signing happen. I'm also thankful to everyone who has come here for their support
today."
Since he couldn't think of anything, Hiro decided to express his gratitude instead.
After Hiro stepped down, the CEO of the organization took over the microphone. He immediately began to express their excitement about renewing his contract.
"Finally, to commemorate Hiro's contract renewal, I'd like to present him a little gift," the CEO who was a rather old man said.
Hiro felt perplexed listening to the announcement. He didn't know he would be receiving a gift. He hadn't even expected it. After all, the terms of the contract were already too good to
be true.
So, he hadn't expected much from the company.
However, upon hearing about the mention of the gift, Hiro couldn't help but feel curious as
well. He wondered what gift he'd be receiving.
The curiosity didn't last long as the CEO revealed the gift.
